Support for wounded soldiers in Denmark
Bevar Ukraine supports Ukrainian veterans who arrive in Denmark for treatment under the Medevac program. We provide informational, legal, financial, humanitarian, and psychological assistance, and coordinate volunteers and interpreters involved in the process.
Since the beginning of the Medevac program until the fall of 2025, Bevar Ukraine has supported 138 veterans and processed more than 1,000 requests from patients and their family members.
Medevac Volunteers
Our volunteers take care of veterans who are patients of the Medevac program from the very first days of their stay in Denmark.
We have created a volunteer network in Copenhagen, Aarhus, and Odense. Sixty dedicated people have joined the team, providing socio-legal and moral-psychological support to program participants and their accompanying family members.

Unity of efforts: from municipalities to the embassy
Coordinated cooperation with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine allows us to prepare in advance for the arrival of veterans and to develop a pathway for social rehabilitation activities.
We work closely with Danish municipalities, hospitals, the Embassy of Ukraine in Denmark, and other partners to promptly address organizational and everyday issues.

Denmark, together with other European partners, provides support, in particular to wounded veterans, by ensuring them access to medical treatment abroad.
