Life under stress

Ukrainians are under constant stress of war regardless of their place of residence. The shock experienced by the Russian terror of peaceful cities and settlements of Ukraine, separation from relatives, loss of job/professional status, uncertain future, cultural adaptation (language barrier, other environment) are factors that negatively affect the quality of life and can worsen the state of mental and physical health.

Focus of attention

Professional psychologists Bevar Ukraine provide psychological assistance and psychological support to Ukrainians who have received temporary shelter in Denmark, veterans undergoing treatment and rehabilitation under the Medevac program, and their families.

Consultations – offline and online. From 2014 to 2025 (as of August)

Individual Counseling

It’s a safe, confidential space where you can share what’s bothering you. We do not give ready-made solutions, but together we look for a way to balance. Each person is unique. Her experience is unique. Her resource is priceless. We offer 6 free appointments (10 for diagnosed depression) in person or online.

Offline consultations at: Nelson Mandelas Alle 12.

Group Sessions

It is a space for dialogue, mutual support and shared growth. In a safe circle of people with similar challenges, we share experiences, learn to listen and be heard. Under the guidance of a specialist, the group explores emotional states, develops self-regulation skills, and finds ways to overcome difficulties.

Film therapy

Film therapy is a tool for self-reflection through watching and discussing films. In a circle of like-minded people, you will be able to explore your experiences, find new points of support, and look at your own situations from a different angle. Art heals when it speaks to and resonates with our experience.

Psychology in simple words

Our psychologists have created a cycle of publications and video webinars on psychoeducation – accessible about the difficult. You will learn professional opinion about the psyche’s responses to stress, trauma and loss; the basics of psychological first aid, self-help, emotional literacy and healthy interaction. Education is the first step towards inner stability and mental health.
