Attacks on civilian targets such as schools, residential areas and hospitals have affected Ukraine’s children. During the war, over half of the minors in Ukraine have at one point been on the run.
Children on the run are always at increased risk of human trafficking and sexual abuse. Due to the war, many children have been torn away from familiar surroundings, family members, friends and schooling.
