Overcoming the language barrier
Almost 70% of Ukrainians who arrived in Denmark because of the war do not speak foreign languages. For example, knowledge of English in Ukraine has not always been a mandatory outcome of the educational process.
The language barrier complicates adaptation, communication, and the search for work in the new environment. That is why we provide displaced people with the opportunity to learn English for faster integration, career growth, and the development of skills that will also be useful after returning home for Ukraine’s reconstruction.
Do you speak English?

Business English
We place special emphasis on developing business English, as proficiency in it opens the way to career growth.
Within the framework of the DK-UA Career HUB program, participants learn how to present themselves in English: writing resumes, passing job interviews, and using professional vocabulary.
Language for action
We teach English for specific purposes: fluent communication, activity in the job market (creating resumes, preparing for interviews), and developing networking skills.
We are confident that language matters both for personal growth and for fostering understanding between people in different areas of life.
Your support of this initiative will help Ukrainian displaced people overcome the language barrier and open up new opportunities.
