The campaign “Turn on the Heat in Ukraine” was launched on Wednesday with a moving – and very cold – day at Rådhuspladsen in Copenhagen. At Bevar Ukraine, we simulated a Ukrainian apartment in the middle of the square, and in the cold sofa we hosted a number of guests who were interviewed by our colleague Thomas Sønnichsen about their personal experiences and warm support for Ukraine.

Ukraine is experiencing the hardest times since early 2022. Constant attacks on residential areas and critical infrastructure leave cities without electricity and heat.
We are collecting vital resources – generators and mobile boiler units – to support cities left without power and warmth.
We need:
- Three-phase diesel generators with a capacity from 10 to 1000 kW, both new and used
- Mobile boiler units powered by diesel or gas
