TRAINING OF DISPLACED PEOPLE

The problem of lack of knowledge among migrants

Ukrainians who have received temporary protection in Denmark due to the war have faced certain adaptation challenges. The language barrier, difficulties with employment, non-recognition of diplomas, social isolation, and uncertainty about the future particularly affect young people and the elderly.

Bevar Ukraine supports the integration of Ukrainians in Denmark by helping them acquire new knowledge and skills, understand specific socialization processes, and adapt to life abroad.

Computer 55+

Bevar Ukraine has introduced a computer literacy course for elderly people.

Its author and lecturer, IT specialist Vitalii Bozhadzhy, explains in lecture format (pictured) how to become an active gadget user, communicate on social networks, master online services, and get acquainted with AI. This builds confidence, broadens social connections, and increases adaptability to today’s conditions.

Leadership Academy for Youth

Leadership Academy Bevar Ukraine is a series of thematic events for Ukrainian youth, where mentors include representatives of business, the public sector, and the media from Ukraine and Denmark. Under their guidance, young displaced persons learn the basics of systemic leadership, teamwork, project management, and strategic thinking.

These skills are essential for nurturing a new generation of ambassadors of Ukraine—responsible leaders capable of rebuilding the country and working for its future within the context of European values and democratic principles.

Creative studio for children and teenagers

This is a creative space where young Ukrainians express themselves, their perception of the world, their dreams, and their desires through brushes and paints.

Professional artists Olena Muzhchynska and Karina Kondrashenko (pictured) teach children to think creatively, generate ideas, imagine vividly, and develop their own artistic style.

Such a creative and friendly atmosphere both unites and heals through art, giving children and teenagers the self-confidence that is especially necessary in these difficult times.

Studio of acting

We believe that every person has their own talent. The main thing is to create the conditions for it to emerge and flourish.

The acting studio led by Anatolii and Tetiana Zinovenko, in cooperation with Bevar Ukraine (pictured), provides Ukrainian displaced persons of all ages with a space for creative development, improvement of speech, the ability to present themselves confidently, and to bravely embrace new challenges. Such activities ease adaptation and make communication more free and natural.

Legal workshops for entrepreneurs

Bevar Ukraine organizes legal workshops for Ukrainian displaced persons who want to start entrepreneurial activities in Denmark. We discuss work visas, tax regulations, labor market integration, the role of the 3F trade union, and more.

The meetings take place in different regions of the country and provide useful knowledge for a safe start of one’s own business under new conditions.

This educational initiative is possible thanks to your support.
