Evacuation of displaced persons in Ukraine

Help for Ukrainians in crisis regions of Ukraine

Evacuation of displaced persons in Ukraine

In 2025, we began cooperation with the humanitarian organization “Angels of Salvation” to support the evacuation of Ukrainians who found themselves at the epicenter of danger in Ukraine.

Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions remain among the most critical areas in Ukraine: constant shelling, destruction, lack of resources, and life under daily risk. In such conditions, evacuation is not just a transportation operation, but a chance for survival.

Bevar Ukraine supports “Angels of Salvation,” whose team works daily in frontline areas, ensuring a continuous presence and saving the lives of Ukrainians in the most challenging circumstances.

Safe evacuation

During November 2025, the evacuation teams of “Angels of Salvation” provided free assistance to Ukrainians who needed safe transportation out of combat zones.

The total number of evacuees exceeded 1,800 people, a significant portion of whom were transported thanks to fuel purchased with the support of Bevar Ukraine.

Those evacuated were primarily women, elderly people, families in difficult life circumstances, and people with disabilities — those who need it most.

Psychological support for evacuees

The head of “Angels of Salvation,” Eva Samoilenko, spoke about the psychological challenges faced by Ukrainians during evacuation at the psychological conference “Invisible Wounds of War,” organized by Bevar Ukraine in Copenhagen.

Often, people do not realize their need for psychological support, and their mental health deteriorates, although this is not always immediately visible.

The problem is enormous, which makes providing support to such Ukrainians extremely important.

Life-saving assistance

The cooperation between Bevar Ukraine and “Angels of Salvation” helps Ukrainians for whom evacuation has become the only path to safety. Most of them are people who cannot leave on their own.

Bevar Ukraine and “Angels of Salvation” are grateful to every partner, volunteer, and donor who makes this assistance possible.

The evacuation of Ukrainians in crisis regions continues. Support our evacuation efforts in Ukraine!
