Danish youth in support of Ukraine

In 2023, Bevar Ukraine received a grant from the Globus – Global Engagement, Education and Cooperation program.

The goal of the project is to foster active discussion on global development and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, as well as to build international solidarity with Ukraine among the youth of Denmark.

Participation in such projects gives young people the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of protecting human rights, freedom, and international cooperation in today’s world.

Engaging Danish schoolchildren

We organized a series of lectures for high school students in Copenhagen, sharing information about the humanitarian situation in Ukraine and the importance of international solidarity.

As a result of this cooperation, our Danish partners from Globus – Global Engagement, Education and Cooperation donated funds for the transportation of humanitarian aid to Ukraine, and Danish students helped load the shipment.

“School truck”

Thanks to the support of Michael Skolen and Vidar Skolen, a humanitarian shipment with furniture and school supplies (pictured) was delivered to Lyceum No. 2 in Mykolaiv, which had been damaged during the war.

The same truck also brought hospital equipment to the city’s medical institutions, which is so urgently needed under the critical conditions of war.

We are sincerely grateful for the donations — in particular from Relief Depot Danishreliefgroup.dk.

Many thanks to all the volunteers who assisted us.
