Supporting two rehabilitation centers for children in eastern Ukraine

More than just a Christmas gift

Bevar Ukraine initiated and successfully carried out a national fundraising campaign to support two children’s rehabilitation centers in Ukraine.We reached out to Danish companies, inviting them to support this initiative by offering their employees the opportunity to donate their company Christmas gifts to Ukrainian children in urgent need.We sincerely thank our donors: MT Højgaard Danmark, Otto og Birthe Bangsdals Fond, Q-Park, Geopark and its partner, as well as Kromans Kokkeskole – All About Cooking. Who have we supported?

We supported two child care centers in Ukraine:

Dnipro Children’s Boarding Center
Kryvyi Rih Center for Medical Rehabilitation and Palliative Care for Children

Both specialize in caring for children with special needs. The facilities serve children with disabilities who require specialized care, medical assistance, and comprehensive rehabilitation support. Many of them are internally displaced from occupied territories.

Supporting children in Dnipro

Through this campaign, we have been able to support children in Ukraine.

Thanks to your contributions, we have purchased essential equipment for rehabilitation and therapy at the Dnipro Children’s Institution, including:

Interactive learning and therapy tools, such as an interactive table
Rehabilitation and physiotherapy equipment, including a cross trainer, vibration platform, and professional strength training machines
Adaptation and upgrading of sanitary facilities to ensure accessibility for children with disabilities

Supporting children in Kryvyj Rih

We have also delivered the following equipment to the Kryvyi Rih Center for Medical Rehabilitation and Palliative Care for Children:

An interactive screen for learning and therapy
A portable power station (EcoFlow Delta Pro) to ensure stable operation

What were needs for support?

Main needs of the centers:

Rehabilitation and exercise equipment
Medical supplies and devices
Childcare and hygiene products
Furniture and facility equipment
Toys and educational materials for child development

Why did companies participate?

Employees had the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting some of the most vulnerable Ukrainians during a difficult time in the war.
Donations went directly to Ukrainian children with disabilities – one of the most vulnerable groups affected by the conflict.
Participants fostered a shared mission of kindness that brought colleagues together.
This initiative offered a chance to embrace the true spirit of Christmas by giving hope to children in need.

How it works

Sign up for the Christmas campaign (link to SIGN UP).
Add a donation to Bevar Ukraine as an optional Christmas gift for your employees.
Upon your request (selected in the sign-up form), we can:
- Provide you with logos, text, and images
- List your company as a supporter on this landing page
- Mention your company as a supporter on our social media channels.

What happens after

You send us the final number of donations, and we will issue an invoice or provide a donation link.
We purchase all necessary items for the child care centers.
We provide you with video and photo reports from the centers.
We send a thank-you letter to your company.
