Medevac Ukraine
Veterans Rehabilitation (Medevac)

Support for wounded soldiers in Denmark
Bevar Ukraine supports Ukrainian veterans arriving for treatment in Denmark under the Medevac program. We provide information, legal, financial, humanitarian and psychological assistance, coordinate volunteers and translators. 138 military personnel supported, processed more than 1000 appeals from patients and their families.
Medevac Volunteers
Our volunteers support Medevac patients every day from the first days of their stay in Denmark. We have set up a volunteer network in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Odense. The team is joined by 60 incredible selfless people who provide support, adaptation and moral support to those affected. They are the heart of the project.

Collaboration
Coordinated interaction with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine allows us to know in advance about the arrival of patients and respond quickly. We work closely with Danish municipalities, hospitals, other partners and the Embassy of Ukraine in Denmark to promptly resolve organizational and domestic issues.
About Medevac Ukraine
Medevac Ukraine is a program of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to help Ukrainians who suffered as a result of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine. Denmark, together with other European partners, provides support, in particular, to wounded servicemen, providing them with access to medical treatment abroad.
