In communication with political and business elites, international organizations and government institutions, public figures and opinion leaders, Bevar Ukraine joins efforts to support Ukraine at the international level. Meeting with Mette Frederiksen
We are in constant dialogue with Danish and European politicians, diplomats, business and public sector representatives. In February 2024, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen visited our office. She talked to Ukrainian immigrants. Their accounts of life in wartime and in peaceful Denmark, where 40,000 people from Ukraine found temporary shelter, helped to better understand Ukrainians.
Visit of the First Lady of Ukraine
In April 2024, the office of Bevar Ukraine was visited by First Lady of Ukraine Elena Zelenska. The meeting discussed the challenges faced by Ukrainians in Denmark and the importance of supporting education, integration and humanitarian projects.
One Day for Ukraine
In June 2024, leading politicians, government officials, diplomats and businessmen gathered at our warehouse in Ringsted as part of the One Day for Ukraine social initiative. Together we loaded trucks with medical aid for Ukraine. This is an example of how the public sector, politicians and businesses can unite in Denmark for effective assistance to Ukraine.
