On August 24, Ukraine’s Independence Day, Bevar Ukraine’s truck number 600, together with five additional trucks carrying humanitarian aid, set off from Ringsted for Ukraine.
The loading of the trucks was attended by Speaker of the Danish Parliament Søren Gade; leader of the Denmark Democrats Inger Støjberg; Ambassador of Ukraine to Denmark Andrii Yanevskyi; Deputy Director for Global Market Development at the Confederation of Danish Industry, Jens Holst-Nielsen; Honorary Consul of Ukraine, Tom Axelgaardpodcast host Irina Olsen, journalist Matilde Kimer, as well as representatives of Danish companies, foundations, municipalities, and civil society organization;
The trucks delivered generators and pumps for critical infrastructure, hospital beds, mattresses and wheelchairs, equipment for a perinatal center, fitness equipment, snacks, disinfectants for a rehabilitation center, as well as animal feed to Ukraine.
