Development of children and youth

For children and teenagers who were forced by the war to leave Ukraine and move to Denmark, this step has been a difficult challenge: a new life, separation from friends and loved ones… The most important thing for them is to continue learning, developing, and receiving support that fosters personal growth despite all the difficulties.

Bevar Ukraine inspires Ukrainian children and teenagers to unlock their creative potential, spend time in an engaging and meaningful way, acquire new skills, and find friends among like-minded peers.

"Creative Hearts" Studio

This is a creative space where young Ukrainians express themselves, their perception of the world, their dreams, and desires through brushes and paints.

Professional artists Olena Muzhchynska and Karina Kondrashenko (pictured) teach children to think creatively, generate ideas, use vivid imagination, and develop their own artistic style.

Such a creative and friendly atmosphere both unites and heals through art, giving self-confidence — something especially important for children and teenagers in these difficult times.

"Aktoria" Studio

We believe that every person has their own talent. The main thing is to create conditions for it to be revealed and developed.

The acting studio, led by Anatolii and Tetiana Zinovenko, provides Ukrainian displaced people of different ages with a space for creative development, improvement of speech, the ability to present themselves confidently, and to bravely embrace new challenges. Such classes make adaptation easier and help communication become more free and natural.

Psychological winter camps

Since 2024, Bevar Ukraine has been organizing winter camps for Ukrainian children aged 8–13 who are temporarily living in Denmark, as well as for youth from Ukraine who have found themselves in difficult life circumstances. The camps take place at the Norwegian ski resort Trysil and combine active recreation with professional psychological support. Participation is arranged by mental health specialists, as the main goal is psychological rehabilitation.

Thanks to new experiences, peer support, and a friendly atmosphere, children feel the joy of life in a safe environment.

We bring winter joy to Ukrainian children thanks to donations from individuals, companies, and foundations.

Summer recreation in Denmark

Together with its partners (the “Future” Charitable Foundation), Bevar Ukraine annually organizes summer health camps in Denmark, near the city of Aalborg, for Ukrainian children (aged 8 to 14) who have lost their parents in the war.

At the camp, they can look forward not only to an active holiday filled with entertainment, excursions, and various events, but also to a friendly atmosphere of support and understanding amid beautiful nature, where silence is not broken by the sounds of air raid sirens.
