Rebuilding Ukraine: Step by Step
Bevar Ukraine develops initiatives that support Ukrainian displaced persons in Denmark while also contributing to the rebuilding of Ukraine. We create opportunities for education, career growth, knowledge exchange, and partnership development between the two countries.
Our mission is to strengthen the resilience of a nation that defends not only its independence but also European values. We unite people, resources, and knowledge to build strong connections between Denmark and Ukraine for the country’s reconstruction on its path toward the EU.
Cooperation with Ukrainian Communities
At the level of the civil sector and local self-government, we are developing cooperation with Ukrainian non-governmental organizations. Through experience exchange, we help communities build effective local leadership and gain knowledge about international grant opportunities.
We pay special attention to supporting veterans — their reintegration into the labor market and the development of social entrepreneurship. We expand professional networks, opening the way to sustainable employment and the creation of their own businesses.
Building Bridges between Denmark and Ukraine
We unite people, businesses, and communities to restore Ukraine and strengthen its democratic future.
Bevar Ukraine creates collaborations, communities, and partnerships that prepare Ukrainians for the challenges of rebuilding the country.
We foster cooperation between Ukrainian and Danish communities, organizations, associations, and experts, promoting the exchange of knowledge and experience. Our goal is to support Ukraine’s path to the EU and the development of an active, responsible civil society.
Restoration of Critical Infrastructure
Bevar Ukraine is developing a series of online meetings dedicated to the reconstruction of Ukraine.
The focus is on restoring critical infrastructure in communities, developing social entrepreneurship (labor market inclusivity, responsible business), strengthening partnerships between Denmark and Ukraine, and adapting Ukrainian legislation to European standards through knowledge exchange between Ukrainian communities and Danish experts.
Bevar Ukraine Projects
Since the beginning of Russia’s aggression in 2022, Bevar Ukraine has been implementing projects across different regions of Ukraine, helping to restore schools and hospitals, as well as to reestablish water and heating supplies where they are most urgently needed.
Each of our projects is a contribution to rebuilding communities affected by the war and supporting those who have been forced to leave their homes.
